Our name comes from an old saying — even when the road ahead is uncertain, may your luck still hold.
Still Good Luck (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd was founded in 2024 and is based in Changping District, Beijing. We are a small team of around twenty engineers, designers, and writers, drawn from a mix of large studios and independent projects.
We believe systems-driven games are the form that holds up over time. We aim to ship a small number of titles that players can study, debate, and keep coming back to — across Roguelike, simulation tycoon, and action adventure.
How we work
Players as researchers. We assume our players will pull every mechanic apart. So we lean on clear, internally consistent systems — never on black boxes engineered to manufacture a kick.
Long-term, not arbitrage. Each project takes at least eighteen months from kickoff to first beta, with an expected lifecycle of five years or more. We do not chase fast-flip titles.
Narrative-led content. Our level designers are also writers. Every NPC and line of dialogue traces back to a carefully kept world bible.
